Need help stay logged in after join

When a member joins they have to login again how can keep them logged in and redirect to the search page.

It does two things redirect / auto login after join to any page you want and ALSO when user logs in you can redirect THEM to any page aside from default to member.php

That would of been within the past 24 hours when I installed a site for someone who was having a problem doing it.  Then again, I just did it within the past hour over on the Beta/RC post.  Perhaps you should look at my post count and maybe even peruse them to see how many questions I ask in comparison to how many answers I give.  You can even deduct 2 points for every post where I've berated someone.  I'm positive I'll come out with a high count of helping posts.

Oh yeah, I also did it on September 11, 2009 at 11:30 AM EST (That would be east coast time in the United States)  (**Note post 2 of this thread :))
