Special Duties

Highly regarded crew members that do some extra work.

Mate (Vendor)

Mates have their own Stores in BoonEx Market where they sell products and services. Only Seamen and Gunners can do it. Seamen pay a once-off $100 establishement fee, while Gunners get a free Store.

Mates have green suits.

Quartermaster (Moderator)

Quarternmasters maintain stability, peace and harmony. Community nominates them and Boonex Team appoints the most trusted ones.

Quartermasters have blue heads and may have green suits if they have Stores. "Gunner" rank is theirs for free.

Boatswain (Super Moderator)

Boatswains are very very powerful, but beautifully humble and responsible. They can delete posts and suspend other members. Boonex Team chooses them from best Quartermasters that proved themseves during long shifts.

Boatswains have orange heads and may have green suits if they have Stores. "Gunner" rank is theirs for free.

BoonEx Team

We have different duties, too.

Navigator (Supporter)

Ask them anything. They know how things work and can assist with common technal isues.

Navigators are green and friendly.

Master (Developer)

Code ~~monkeys~~ magicians. Every now and then Masters handle uncommon support issues and post technical announcements, but normally they are busy making Dolphin awesome.

Masters are as blue as Dolphin itself.

Captain (Jack of all trades)

Not even a Master. Captain is always around and can be found doing all sorts of odd jobs. Swabbie, powder monkey, cabin boy… you name it! BoonEx Captain wouldn't tell PHP code from Unix command, but he has the power to summon Masters and Navigators.

Captain is all-orange, so you can see him from afar.
