This bug was supposedly fixed this morning. You can download the fix here if you're savvy enough to understand what you are doing http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/browser/trunk?order=date&desc=1

Jimie

I tested this on site, and it did work for us.  I did fresh install yesterday morning prior to testing.  This could maybe have something to do with it...

Do you mean "trunk"? No, the fix did not work for me either. It now allows me to click the "continue" button after I insert my youtube code (sometimes), but then stays on the upload whirly status indicater forever. I am going to  quick try using the actual embed code part instead of the url from youtube and see if that works.

Yes, I advice just to update (better fully) video module - should work. Checked today.

Error, File Not Found. That is a hosting compatability issue that arose in Beta 3. It can also be considered a bug, and I don't know exactly how they are addressing it. For some strange reason, some servers do not process videos properly with B3. I fixed this issue by going to a dedicated server that I could control. However this is not reasonable for many people.

Boonex should fix this sonn I would hope because even their B3 demo does this on their own server.

Just reinstalled from scratch last trunk. Error is still there. My hosting is Arvixe.

you will have to wait for b4 fix then, unless someone knows the work-a-round. I spent a week trying to figure it out with no luck. That's why I went dedicated.

Yeah i know. I get the same error. I was almost excited to see it almost working. I actually now think that this one is not a hosting issue as I mentioned in an earlier post, because my other video uploads work fine.

The youtube embed works too fast to be even trying to upload a video--unless it is supposed to actually embed it.

Seems to be one step closer, but still a bug.

the bug is resolved. The solution will be available in Dolphin 7 Beta 5.

Is the bug fix available in the last trunk version ? thanks

Yea now it`s working thanks alot

There is still an issue with whatever the link is checked against to make sure it's a youtube link. Some instances of urls do not turn the "continue" button black to proceed.

yeah embed works now just need to get it to  play the file

it does play the file with the latest changeset fixes that came out yesterday rightafter b4 was released. However, it still poses the problem of not accepting all youtube links. I have no idea why it only accepts certain links and others it will not make the continue button clickable.

Dude...I think I figured it out...

I was having no luck embedding my youtube videos until I realized I had the video marked as "Private" on youtube. I made it public and it loaded perfectly.

Just make sure your Youtube video is ALWAYS PUBLIC not Private.
