width of individual navigation menu tabs

Hi,

Having some trouble with my navigation menu - I want to be able to control the size of each tab, but it seems this is controlled 100% by the length of the word in each tab.  One of my tabs is getting on for 1/3 of the whole menu and I want to greatly reduce its width as most of the tab is empty.  Is there anywhere in the codes that lets me take control over the tab width? I've already searched this forum without luck.

I just wanted to ask the same question :)

Before a guest joins he can only see two menus (home and language). Right now i have two really big tabs on top of my site and i need to make them smaller because they strech over the whole width of my page, which looks really silly.

I hope somebody knows how to control this. I do not want to set the size of the tabs by myself, because different languages need different sizes, i just want to prevent them to get bigger than needed.

My guess is you need to look for the CSS that controls the menu; I just don't know which one at this time.

Is this question related to dolphin 7.1 or dolphin 7.0.9? o.O

But to answer your question, for me it's 7.09

@geek_girl: I don't think this comes from css but i am not sure and if so i don't know which css property i have to set where. Any template geeks here?
