why can't I edit the profile block in the menu builder

Can anyone tell me why I cannot edit the profile block in the menu builder.  I want to get rid of the icon and use names instead but this block is greyed out not allowing me to remove the icon. All other blocks are editable.

Actually there are 2 that cannot be edited. 3 if you have the sites module installed.

Boonex set some of them as not editable by default. Guess to protect them from being removed. There are 4 not able to be deleted.

Anyhow. That can be changed in the database in the table sys_menu_top. There are fields for both editable and deletable. Change the value from 0 to 1

After that change is done, as with all manual database changes the cache must be cleared.

Thanks deano. I found this http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/How-do-I-change-profile-image-on-main-menu-to-the-word-PROFILE-.htm and it helped me find where I needed to go to make the edits.

I can't move, change, alter, edit or switch the menu blocks in the navigation menu at all.   Won't let me move a damn thing!

As a guess, something is interfering with the jquery on the page.  Look in the browser's error console and see if you see anything listed.
