what is RMS address ?please ,please

Hello guys:

My husband said he have installed one ray server files. But i check the ray base settings.I think here must be wrong.

My Ray Base Settings are:

Site name: site name

Use RMS Checked

RMS Address: rms.boonex.com

RMS Port: 10000

RMS HTTP PORT: 10080

preloader bg: ffffff

sent flash: check

may you tell me how to set these.i am sure it is a silly question.but i still want to make the video work.

You need the ports 1935, 1936 and 5080 to be opened/enabled in your firewall or iptables.

RMS Address is the IP address of your server.

I use 1&1 host. So i need put the 1&1 IP address in RMS address ? right

You need to put the IP address where the RMS is installed on to. 

I have installed the RMS. but i am still counfused with RMS ADDRESS "IP address where the RMS is installed on "

i installed the RMS file in my site server. so my IP address for RMS is  "  mysite.com" .      we use one sharing hosting. or do i need to put hosting IP address.

This is a old Dolphin 6 forum.

Boonex no longer provides a free RMS server, so to use things that require RMS you need to have a host that provides RMS or obtain stand alone RMS hosting. In both cases the host provides you with the RMS IP address and ports you need to use.
