weird error shows up when I submit without a file

Okay this is kinda weird.  This is what i did.  I went to "My Profile" then click "Profile Photo".  I simply type in the title box and then I click on submit.  (yes i forgot to add a file) I see some strange error shows up and it's not quite pretty.  It doesn't show any error when I submit WITH a file. Here what it looks like (look below).  I tested my other clean dolphin one and I still see the same problem.  Is there a way to fix this?  It's really ugly. Any ideas to fix this? Thanks

That's not a weird error, it's incomplete code that doesn't call up a proper page when a member makes an error & forgets to assign a photo to upload.  Really, this should just bring up a screen that has a header page code that includes a simple language key stating error:  You forgot to choose a photo.  And then a footer.

Not to hard, but something that was obviously missed, I've seen it happen in multiple places on Dolphin (Events for one).   Passing this thread on to Boonex Admin, hopefully they can give us a quick fix for it (in other words, a very simple patch that resolves this for good when it happens), though it is an end user type error.

Hello patrick81!

I couldn't reproduce this trouble in Dolphin 6.1.6. Don't know what did exactly happen but it has necessary checking like:

if( strlen( $ext ) && !(int)$ext ) in UploadPhoto.php file. $ext - this is allowed extension of picture.

This trouble can be checked more properly if u send me ur FTP details via PM.

Regard

I don't think it's a huge deal if Dolphin 7 (final) will come out soon. I hope. Will it come out this December or?  I can wait.  :)

Thanks for your respond!
