@ e3

you will need an update sql query to change all old images to the new image you selected.

I not expert on this but:

When you use the watermark, the photo is um processed with imagemagik and the watermark is merged with that photo, you change the watermark to a different file, the old photos would have to be deleted and re uploaded to be processed with the new watermark..

And, depending on the original image size, i.e. the image scale size is large (2248x1124), the watermark will be very tiny..

upload an avatar (32x32) and the watermark will cover the entire image.

Now as far as 7.0.4 watermark working correct I have not tested because of the previous experience  and my members will not delete and re upload..

Now on the otherhand, I think Rayz offers a watermark module that I have seen working on a site and it puts the watermark where you want it, and scales it properly according to the image size.

Just my two cents worth....

You are correct, the watermark does seem to be working in 7.04 and you are also correct, it still sucks big bananas. Smaller images are consumed by the size of the watermark and larger images, the watermark is so small, it's almost indistinguishable.

What I don't understand is why when someone sits down to initially design and build a feature like this why they don't take the time to THINK IT THROUGH before they waste time building it. It's still useless in it's current configuration.
