video upload failure

ok im using dlpohin 6.1.4 it uploads 100% then says failed. I have tried the htaccess solutions, php.ini solutions, its ona linux debian based system, I am the host, and cant for the life of me figure it out

in reference to the php.ini file what measures have you taken on that? max_execution max_file upload? 

have you uploaded an audio file? have you tried another video file with a different extension?

It just winds up that the video i was uploading was encoded improperly, now its working. (after hours of me pulling out my hair)
