Did you configure your Flash Apps settings to use RMS? Configuring RMS makes no difference in B3 for this bug. I played around with this problem for over a week and finally got a dedicated server to fix the issue. It seems to be a hosting issue for some. The ffmpeg does not run as it is supposed to. Godaddy shared hosting says that they do not allow exeutable files to run. However, all prior versions, except d7b3 process videos fine.It is very confusing why this actually happens. This bug is even present in the current boonex demo of d7b3.
i have dedicate server im setup my rms corectly , cron jobs im not setup, tanks brunno
It is possible there is a bug in cron.php, unless my reading of the code is wrong. It would only happen if you do not start your initial cron job on the hour or at 5 or 10 etc min after the hour.
There is a function called checkCronJob($sPeriods) in cron.php which populates an array with the minutes between 0 and 59 divided by the step which is 5. For video the time is specified as */5 which says run it every 5 minutes.
What happens if you start your initial cron job not on the hour but at 10:01 and every five minutes after so 10:06 , 10:11 and so on. The minutes will never match the array minutes which are 0 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45 50 55 and so the video cron never runs.
The solution for now is to start your iniial cron job on the hour or change the time field for the video in mysql to * * * * * Thats if I am right.
I force the cron job by just specifying the url ie yoursite/periodic/cron.php to test
Video files are processed but not working play video
I started cron.php on every 5 minutes this is the message received:

Would be other problems, video files are deleted still remain in "files" folder, and home videos viewed albums are empty I think is useless and absurd to see the index in "x" empty folder without content (4 Days Ago, 0 Videos) Why you should see albums without content? what is the logic? If a user delete a video but not delete the album do not see why I should appear in the home videos or elsewhere than in the user profile does not believe that professional. commons categories should be in home videos. why many menus? Why can not edit, videos page, in admin? module categories should be in home videos for a simple navigation brunno |
