it's something you should not worry about :)

Possibilities:

  • BoonEx remains in business.
  • BoonEx goes out of business and another company acquires assets, including software.
  • BoonEx goes of of business and a final, backlink-free version is released along with nulling code for older versions.
  • BoonEx goes out of business and the community continues development, releasing a backlink-free version for all to enioy.
  • BoonEx goes out of business and development of Dolphin is left to site owners who can afford to pay freelance or dedicated developers.
  • Something else.

Enjoy.

If the license servers go down, a paid license will become essentially worthless, and the backlinks will reappear on your site. In the even this happens, you can relax knowing any of the above scenarios will take place. In my opinion, the third and fifth scenarios seem the most likely.
