upload option not available (video, music etc...)

Hello,

The field to upload video and music is disabled.  I can fill in the title and description however, the top entry is not operating.

Any Ideas?

Thx

The top entry is a read only field. Next to it is suppose to be a browse button so you can browse your computer for the file name to upload.

Is the button missing? If not, what happens when you click on it.

If it is missing, try going to adobe.com and make sure you have the latest flash version installed.

I have never seen that not work before.

Yes, have the latest version of flash.

No, no browse button.

I also had t include a php.ini file to get rid of the home page "url open" warning messages if that helps.

What web browsers have you tried this in? It may be a browser specific issue, or a issue with a browser plug-in.

Unfortunately i won't be of much help. This is a ray module written in flash, so it's not something i am an expert in.

Any ray experts here care to jump in on this?

Hi

I've just started having this problem over the last couple of days too. It was working great up to recently. The problem started when my hosting changed servers and we're trying to track down the problem.

I also have problems with calling the chat rooms as well.

does any Ray specialists out there know if the server needs JRE to run these operations. My feeling is there's problems with server side java.

thanks

Hi IgorL

thanks for that link I'll have  look through it.

we never got to sort out the problem so my host moved me to another server where the script works without a problem.

perhaps it's the php settings, when I get the time I'd love to track down the problem, but now it's all sorted.

thanks

kevin
