upgrade RC2 to RC3 help

need help please with the upgrade:

1. i upload the zip of RC3 to the server and then extricat the zip into the folder where my site he is.

now what?

I also had to remove the install folder. The instructions did not say to do that, but the upgrade complained about it being there.
