Hi,

Top menu of Photo,Music and video is not working,when i click "page cannot display error occurs" and same problem in "all photo" "all Video" all Music" menu please help me to solve the problem.

go to admin settings and turn off permalinks. you should disable register_global or whatever that flag is in the htaccess, its the first line on your htaccess. refresh the page, you can then at that time turn on the permalinks and it should all be fine.

Hello,

If you turn off the perm links. The url re-write won't happen. And SEO urls won't be there for your script.

Here is the solution.

Open the file ".htaccess" from the root.

Delete its original contents and add it from a new dolphin6.1 package. If you get 500 server error, delete the line that starts with "php_flag"

I have the same problem. I tried turning off permalinks, but it didn't do anything for me.

Besides offering a solution, can someone explain why this happens for some users?

I also had this same problem. This is what corrected my problem:

1. I opened my root .htaccess in notepad, which contained:

3. I combined the two to form the following:

4. Problem solved - all pages open on my site.

5. For some reason most of the original .htaccess text was deleted during the install process.

Once and for all everyone please UNDERSTAND... the friendly links WILL NOT WORK on a "temp" domain name like http://53.242.131.11/~myaccount Once you get the REAL url pointed at the site they will work fine.

Also if you are using a server that allows you to use php.ini files you MUST take the "register globals" line out of the .htaccess! This question has been answered 6 million times.

hey i have to disagree with you on that sorry. i just got a new host today and my dns is not set up yet. So i just added this to my htaccess to get rewrititing to work.

Options -MultiViews

php_flag register_globals Off

RewriteEngine on

RewriteBase /~jayaicom/dolphin/

i am sure i will need to change this when the dns server kicks in but hey it works for now...

Try the RewriteBase / in .htaccess.

If this doesn't fix, your server may not have rewrite enabled.

if you had in fact gotten this out of a box, it may have very well worked out of the box. but you didnt, you loaded it up on a server, that may not have been configured correctly to run this script. the script works very well. there have been very few problems from what i have seen, and i have just loaded my 150th install. other than the normal 500 server error on install, and the [L[Forum]] on orca, have not seen much of nothing give me any shiite. not all servers have mod_rewrite enabled. check with your host on that. if you need help getting your install tweaked, and twisting your server around to make things work. give me a shout.
