title and description

<html lang="en">

<head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge"><meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1"><!-- The above 3 meta tags *must* come first in the head; any other head content must come *after* these tags --><meta name="description" content="X"><meta name="author" content="">

Hello.......my first time in a file, am trying to be careful :))

Above is what I found in the head code to put in my Title and Description, I am guessing all of our look the same.

Where you see the large X is where it appears I am to enter the "description" is that correct?? It looks exactly the same as the tutorial I read on that part.

So where do I put this.......... <title>Title of site </title> ........I do not see that there but I have seen that the Title goes before the description, that makes sense.

And..... I take it I only need to fill in the Author stuff if I want credit for this, so that can stay blank....:))

Ok thank you in advance.....I felt brave going into that server, but you must learn   lol

All of these site settings are done in the administration section; when you setup/installed the site you filled in most of those or were supposed to.

Find them here at the bottom of the page.. yoursite[dot]com/administration/basic_settings.php

Hey,

Ok thank you.....

I got confused about where it was to go, guess what I found was the server info.

I put a page tracker and site block in that head code area, save myself the usual scammer places and the abserve theme has place to enter the title n description..... so its good
