tinymce downloading source_editor.htm instead of executing it.

This is weird and i have no idea where to fix it.

When using Firefox, Chrome or Safari on my site(Site Deleted) and I'm editing a post, when i try to insert/edit image or edit html source they all try to download the appropriate .htm file.

I get the pop-up window and then instead of getting the program running in there i get the download file dialogue box.

The even weirder thing is it works fine with IE.  I never use IE but out of frustration i tried it and it works fine.

I don't know what it is because I'm using the same browser to type this post and those buttons work fine on your site.

Browser Versions:

Firefox 14.0.1
Chrome 21.0.1180.83 m
IE 9.0.8112.16421

Running Dolphin 7.0.9

Image attached of what i get.

Thanks... Dwight

Blackhole Exploit Kit

Site users, don't click on the link.

It is a direct injection virus, hope your virus software is up to date if you do..

your will have to update your virus software, clean your server.

tell your host, maybe they can help.

there are topics here that explain how to fix an infected site. you will have to search, don't recall ATM all of them.

I have someone looking into the infection. It seems that is a nasty one to detect.

However the problems i'm having with tinymce are not symptoms of that virus.  Are there any ideas on how to solve that problem for me??

The problem of your computer downloading the html may not be server-side. It could be your computer missing a file handler or mime type.

Have your tried the same procedures on the boonex demo site or someone elses dolphin site.

yup, it works perfectly well on this forum?

plus i've had a couple other people test my site and the same thing happens for them.

its any of the functions on tinymce that require a pop-up window...  add hyperlink, image, edit html etc.

also just tried the demo site and my computer works just fine there.

I would help but I don't think members will either until you verify you have a virus free site.

newton27... wanted to say thanks.

I have determined that they did in-fact get hit again by a virus. They got hit in early August and was re-assured when i came in to help that everything had been cleaned properly.

I have just started to help these guys to get this site off the ground as their programmer fell sick and has been in the hospital.

We're in the process of making the proper permanent fixes to their hosting and sites to ensure it doesn't happen again.

I'll be back in a day or 2 once everything is "Verified" clean.

Thanks again!...Dwight

I'm still having this problem and my site is clean of any virus.

Anyone have any idea on why this is downloading source_editor.htm instead of executing it?
