sys_banners_shows is marked as crashed?

I'm finding this is my error log:

Table './unity/sys_banners_shows' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

What could be causing this?

The message says marked as crashed. Basically translated to laymen terms, the database table is damaged.

phpMyAdmin has repair tools. Go to the database in phpMyAdmin and try repairing the table.

I've optimized AND repaired the table, this is after I've done that. I don't know what's wrong with the table, Maybe I should just drop them and create them again.
