swfobjetc flash chat integration

Hello,

Is there any method to detect flash presence in flash chat ? because so many users don't know that they have to install flash player if it is not installed.

Any ideas ?

I also ask myself this because there is no information to install flash if it is missing, same for other components. on one pc i saw a text like "This text must be replaced by something..." but i cannot find it anywhere.

So how to deal with members not having flash installed? Anybody know?

Most browsers display a "plugin missing" error where the Flash content should be.  I know this is the case for Mozilla and WebKit-based browsers.  But if the user needs to be specifically told that Flash is required, I'm sure something can be cooked up to display a download button or something.

Thats the problem, i use Firefox and an a Win7 PC i not get anything, its just not visible. Chat for example is just an empty site. On another PC i see a spinning Logo "Loading". For Videos i see "This text will be replaced". Thats not good. I just want to see everywhere "Plugin missing" and a square field for this, the standard behaviour. Very strange

"This text will be replaced" i found, it is used by a module of modzzz, its the place holder to inject the data from swfobject.js

If none plugin is installed this text is displayed, thats okay and i can solve it for his modules. I just changed it to "Click here to download Adobe Flash Player"

But for all Dolphin modules i cannot find it. Why they not show a message if flash is not installed? Chat for example just shows the template with menu eg and no chat box below. There should be a small hint for the user he needs to install it! It looks like Boonex uses swfobject.js so where is the problem to throw out some words to the user?

Please can anyone of Boonex Staff tell me how i can inform the user he needs flash if its not installed when he tries to access some areas it is needed?
