sub-communities

Hello,

I just discovered Dolphin, and love it already ! :)

I just have one question : I would like to have sub communities managed by different administrators, is there a way to do this with Dolphin ?

Let me try to explain :

for example, I would like my site blahblah.com to be used by different countries with a subdomain :

france.blahblah.com or spain.blahblah.com

and i would like each of these subdomains to be managed by different administrators; I don't want the administrators to manage or see users from other countries.

Is that possible ?

Thank you for any help ...

Xavier.

You should be able to do this without too many problems. Seperate folders and seperate databases. I have not tried to do this but I would think that it would be easy. The only "problem" is theat when you make a change (design or something) you have to do it multiple times (for each subdomain/installation of dolphin).

Happiness is a warm gun.

Thanks for your reply.

The problem is that the user database needs to be common, because users will be allowed to connect, it's just that the administrators should not be able to manage users from a different country than theirs ...

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
