stupid newbie question

So I just did a clean install of this impressive looking software. I just can't get the links to work right.

For example, when I click on events, the link is: http://www.mysite.com/dolphin/events

But that's a bad link, apparently. It redirects to my home page.

When I type in http://www.mysite.com/dolphin/events.php everything works fine and dandy.

Am I doing something wrong in my configuration? I did RTFM, and Search TFM, with no luck Embarassed

.htaccess, has not been transferred to your sites root. therefore, your mod_rewrite SEO Friendly urls are not working. check your htaccess and open the zip file you downloaded and put the htaccess file up on the server, and all will be fine.
