What best way can i prevent spammers from my site

If you search the forum here you'll find lots of good suggestions. They should probably sticky that one thread with all the ideas. People have had success splitting the join form, using anti-spam mods and using unique questions on the join form. You can also use the built in tools to block the spamming countries.
