can't seem to get it going.. the photo shoot isn't working at all.. seems to crap out with a file error. even remove file does nothing. just simply goes to the same screen as before.. it's a total mess. after i hit CONTINUE i get a "photo upload failed (photo error)" |
I just tested it and I have the same thing and I tested on the demo site with the same results. When in photos, select "Shoot" from "Choose Uploader", Adobe asked for control of the camera, you select "Screenshot" and the system hangs. Wait, it finally completed, it took about 2 or 3 minutes to run. Michael |
i know it works in old dolphin code just can't remember which one. |
quick fix.. take old dolphin code that actually does work. and overwrite the new code...
I find that in most revisions and updates that the new code is faulty but the old code is stable..
just finding what is going wrong with the new code and overwritting it with the old code usually solves most problems. there is an archive on sourceforge of dolphin code going back to the 6.0 era. very VERY handy.. I wonder why boonex doesn't have an archive yet?

I just did, both with Mac OSX Safari and FireFox. I ran 2 tests 7 times for the first and 7 times for the second. With the first test, first run on Safari it took 55 seconds to load. Then in FireFox 1 minute 45 seconds. Switching between the 2 browsers after each run, it was consistently 1 minute 45 seconds.
I updated my OS which had an patch for the Raw Digital Feed and I ran the test again, this time starting with FireFox. The first load took 2 minutes 15 seconds. Again switching between the running it 6 more times, it was consistently 1 minute 40 seconds.
Granted I have a slow and inconsistent internet connection, but if that were the problem my time would be different. So this is telling me that it has something with the version or setup of Flash on my OS, I would think, and how it is handling the requests. This is the version of the plugin that is on my system. I hope this helps.

Just to be clear do you mean you reproduced it on your site or on the Boonex demo site?

Correct, I ran the tests on the demo site.

I think slow and inconsistent internet connection can cause such delays.
