security attack

i have serious problem... i think....

i installed facebook connect module and now is my mailbox full only security attack messages. why is that.... now i deinstall this modul and delete in facebook this app too... but messages still gomes. two days.... and i have get over 3000 messages.

sorry you are facing this issue. please go into your admin panel ==> settings ==> advanced settings ==> other

you will find two settings in there for security threshold one set to 9 one set to 27 change both of these settings to -1

this will disable the PHPIDS which is causing a problem for all of us.

Thanks this helps.... but one question. Can i use facebook connect module in such a way that does not create any problems

i've no personal experience with facebook connect module because i just dont use facebook, but would tend to believe there are thousands using the facebook connect.

it has been suggested by the developers to disable the security mechanism from the admin panel, because the facebook module is not the only module or feature that will trigger that impact level that fires the cron job
