rms problem

hi all, sorry if this is in the wrong place. i wasn't sure where to post it

i had rms running on my server ok with 7.0.9

After installing a new dolphin 7.1.0b1 on my server under a new domain i went to the flash apps to connect rms. i couldn't input the rms address in the settings. i found that by putting the rms address direct into /flash /modules/global/xml/config.html it showed on my flash apps settings

If ive missed something setting this up please could someone please advise me on the correct way to set this address ?

When i save it i cannot get a connection

if i look at port 5080 i have red5 running

ok now to the real part of my post

hands up i messed up

in /ray_server/conf/realm.properties i changed the password without thinking properly.

the <username>: <password>[,<rolename> ...] is set to    admin:admin,admin  (copied and pasted in this format)

i believe this is what it set as originaly (my bad for not noting it down)

now i cant get a connection on either of my dolphin sites

can someone please help me rectify my stupid mistake.

did you upgrade to the new rms server for 7.1.0 ?

i have just updated the rms. it works fine on my 7.0.9 site

When i go to my 7.1.0b1 site the settings show rms working but i cant type to the chat as if it wasn't working. Have i missed something ?

i had the same thing happen to me as well....  i restarted the rms server a few times and it started working.

i think sometimes its not creating the default rooms when it starts.... 

ill try restarting the rms , cheers.

i find it weird that my 7.0.9 chat works fine and the new 7.1.0 site dose not, as both are on the same server. 

can i clarify, from new install of 7.1.0 I add the web site address in the access.dat file and restart the rms, i install chat in modules then activate flash apps, add the rms server address to the settings (in global file) to show in the flash apps settings, tick the use rms and save.

then all should work trusting i dont get a connection error ? (which im not getting any more since the upgrade)

on typing this i realise surly i should be able to add the server address into the flash apps settings ?

ive checked the rms is running ok, ive checked my file permissions are ok , ive cleared my cache,

not sure what ive missed

any more help would be most appreciated 

update, restarted my rms server 5 times still no connect on 7.1.0

are speaking of Beta1?

some flash files have been changed, perhaps you need to re upload the chat files again.

PS how does the chat work with the RMS not enabled

[edit] SVN 17221 is where the chat app was updated Nov 23

the attached file; unzip and upload to root 

 it works just fine as a text based chat room without rms running. 

or was that a ? for him to answer ?

Also if you want i can take a look at the server and see whats up.
