reCAPTCHA v2 issues on Dolphin 7.4.2 Join Form

Experiencing reCAPTCHA v2 issues on the Dolphin 7.4.2 Join Form. The 'I'm not a robot' iframe is displayed correctly and the image select process seems to work properly leading to successful confirmation, but after clicking Join button, form submission fails due to security image check failure.

Have cleared both Dolphin cache and browser cache but no luck.

Any ideas?

Hello hpsiorg!

Please specify did you setup Recaptcha as V2? Also - did you have Dolphin before and it was working fine there but after upgrade, it has been broken? If both answers are "yes" then please provide me your server Control Panel and Dolphin admin access via PM here.

LeonidS,

Thanks for your response. Yes, reCAPTCHA was setup as v2 and was working. Membership was disabled for some time (maybe a year? - before 7.4.2), and now when trying to re-enable it, this problem is occurring.

Will send you access to server Control Panel and Dolphin admin access via PM.

Thanks!

Hello hpsiorg!

I visited your site - seems the deal is in Javascript error which breaks the normal work of Catpcha, let's check details from answer.

To close the loop on this issue (and potentially assist others who may experience it), the solution involved regenerating the Google reCAPTCHA v2 Site and Secret Keys and updating them in Dolphin:

Administration > Advanced Settings > Security

Google reCAPTCHA Site Key -> Dolphin reCAPTCHA Public Key
Google reCAPTCHA Secret Key -> Dolphin reCAPTCHA Private key

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
