random blank pages. refresh fixes

I haven't been able to find any answers on the problem so here goes.  At random (and I'd say 3 in 10 links), when I click a link, I get a blank page, except the background. Seems like whatever queries are going on don't finish or something, I dunno.  I haven't been able to replicate the problem by doing anything specific, it's just kind of random.  A refresh loads the page just fine but it'd make users pretty irritated to have half the links they click on not work until they refresh.

Anyone have any experience with this or what could be causing it?

Your timing out.  Your server is not serving up the pages fast enough or your own internet connection is so bad the browser is timing out on you.  Check with your host, do a full path and so on from your system to your site and see where the problem lies.

I'm on a 20 Meg connection (currently getting a 40ms ping time to the server) and it does it instantly.  I'm also hosting it in its own data center.  The server is 8 cores w/ 16 GB of ram and on an OC-48 line.  It seems to be serving efficiently.  The page doesn't take any time to not show something, it's not like a timeout where I have to wait a bit and then it never shows anything.  It does it within half a second and just loads the page background.  A refresh and half a second later, the page loads correctly.  I don't see anything in the error log or mysqld.log file either. Anything else I could be missing?

And what about your own browser settings.  Note, I mentioned it might happening at the server or at your own computer/terminal/enduser position.  This sounds like it's caching the page but not fully serving it up, when you refresh it's finishing up with fresh data added to the cached data

You might be onto something with the caching.  That would make a lot of sense.  My browser is set to cache nothing.  Multiple computers are doing it as well so it's gotta be something on the server end but caching problems totally make sense.  Do you know of anywhere that I could look for ways of disabling caching in dolphin?
