profiles in members block

How can i increase the number of profiles displayed in the members block on home page. its displaying only 6 latest members in the block by default. i want to increase it to 8. Thanks in advance

Inside your admin. Settings -> Basic Settings. Bottom of page. Change the 6 to 8.

 Yes,  go to your admin/settings/advanced settings where you'll see index page settings. In there you will find this: Number of featured members displayed on front page ...just put the number of members you want to have on homepage.
