pre-launch

Hey All

I must have broke some rules earlier, my blog got deleted. I wanted to talk about how many active members a standard dedicated server can support. Anyone have any idea?

I'm not sure what a "standard" dedicated server is, but any decent dedicated server should handle thousands of surfers at once without a  problem.  The number of Dolpin members should be unlimited.  Each one is just another entry in you database.  Server performance shouldn't be affected until you are really processing a lot of data through the RMS, or streaming tons and tons of video.  If it is a new site, that is highly unlikely.  How your blog got deleted; well, you are probably the only one with the answers to that question.  Perhaps if you provided some more details about it, someone here might be able to help you figure out what happened to your blog.

Thanks for the response. I dont care about the blog!! It was just strange. Thanks for the insight. My problem is I have have a dedicated server with a recommended host, and I wanted to know how much to advertise when I launch. I dont want to pay for 10000 visitors to my site daily, only for it to crash. If thats the case I'll pay for 1000 visitors/daily. Thanks again
