phpBB Module - compare database

I just noticed that under admin/tools/modules it says "Compare databases (for phpBB module only)".  What exactly is this?  For what version of phpBB?  I know there are several mods out there for phpBB integration- and maybe all of them are good, but is there now an official one?  What is the latest on this?

Thanks

Hey Rob...

I think this might answer your question.... phpBB

Also... I saw your PM, just have been swamped trying to get a couple of Dolphin items squared away.

I'll be in touch...

Thanks Lorren, this helped- though I do wish it was dated- I don't know how old that document is.  Does anyone know if this works with the most recent version of phpBB?  Does anyone have this working?  Do we also need to use one of the mods that have been published here- or is this enough?

OK, I think I am going to take a shot at this.  Could someone verify that this works with phpBB 3.0.2 - the most recent stable verson?  I'm not positive, but I think those instuctions might have changed since I looked at it yesterday- is that possible?  If anyone has done this and can share any insights (limitations, potential pitfalls, etc) I would appreciate it.

Ok, I have installed phpBB 3.0.1 into the /forum directory, uploaded the phpbb.aemod via the modules panel, and made configuration changes as instructed, and got this database errorL

---

refresh.php returned:
Module error: synchronizeProfiles(): exec(/usr/local/bin/php -f refresh.php 1 admin ) returned 127

---

Does anyone know what this means, and how to fix it?

Thanks

Rob
