php module: zip = - WARNING (should be module zip)

Hi there

at my admin tools audit I see "PHP: 5.2.17 - WARNING (your PHP version is probably outdated, upgrade to the latest 5.3.18 maybe required" and "php module: zip = - WARNING (should be module zip)" as well as "php setup = cgi-fcgi - WARNING (your PHP setup maybe very inefficient, please check it for sure and try to switch to mod_php,"

Arvixe told me to http://blog.arvixe.com/how-to-use-php-5-3-on-linux-hosting/. So I added "AddHandler application/x-httpd-php53 .php"  to my .htaccess file which made the site unusable and each link I clicked was to download the page. I took it off and arvixe support tells me now "its probably because of the php 5.3 update you made , dolphin may have to be reinstalled if you use php 5.3 for your accoun" .

In my php.info it tells me PHP Version 5.2.17 :-)

So what should I do.

and does it has to do that my video uploads to not process anymore since my upgrade to D7.1?

Is this a vps or dedicated ?  If either you really should upgrade the server ...

Your setup is fine, except for the apparent lack of the ZIP support in PHP.

For video uploads, make sure ffmpeg.exe has the right permissions (755 for FastCGI) and the cron job is set.  Do you have any emails about video uploads?

php 5.2.17   really that's fine ?  it's over a year old and many things are deprecated in that version.

no emails and I think it's the cron jobs cos I have added that domain as a add-on and did not set up the cron job :-) I will test it now
