php 7

i saw in php.net that php 7 rc is released and its twice as fast from 5.6 (what i'm using)

I would not run a RC in a production environment. 

for sure, but can you imagine the speed of your site twice as fast 

fast website its great factor in ux for the customers

php 5 was released in 2004 so its been 11 since then until now

Dolphin will not work on php 7 without some major work.

why?

The code is not compatible with PHP 7 - specifically the MySQL bits. I haven't looked at it much, but it won't even remotely run in its current state.

Anyone know if trident is already compatible with php 7?

I'll let you know in about an hour or so...  Need to set up a new machine to find out. 

Yes it works with php 7 (if)  you comment out 1 line in /studio/classes/bxdoltoolsaudit.php
