Look into admin/memberships levels.
Give the guest level some permissions what you want.

Hi reggiekills!

There is no way to allow non-member to use a Contact feature. Some profile data is required to be able to use a Dolphin mail box.

the reason why i ask, because i seen another dolphin site and they were able to do it, but did not post how they did it, so it can be done.

IF it's been done, then it's been done with a lot of adjustment to the files and over rides of how dolphin is meant to work.  Dolphin is a database driven software for web deployment, this means that all functions are carried out in the Database with commands sent primarily through php (with the exception of Ray which uses a lot of Flash and so on to do it's part).  A normal dolphin site requires user info on the sender and the recipient to properly route an e-mail and such.

Now, non-members can get away with sending greetings, but that is about the limit of their abilities in a base install.  Are you sure that's not what you meant?

i did some searching, and see that this cannot be done. they have the option there to send the user a message, but when you click on it it prompts for a user/pswd. this is really what iom looking for, sorry for the confusion, just to have the option there.
