I tried to install that module but it can not be from the administration of the site. I do not know if this module is what I want. maybe I do not express myself well, but I want that when you go to www.namesite to show an image and not to see the contentsite only after logging in or registering

Hi Dola, I am struggling with your request.

If you want a visitor to see a screen with just a picture, you can do one of these things:

The easiest thing to do is create a HTML Landing Page with Click Here To Continue. That page can be a simple graphic or a mixture or picture(s) and text. Once the guest clicks the Continue link, you can set the site up so that they only see a few unimportant items. See below.

To show the home page without any information and have a picture where stuff would normally be. This would also show the log on/ join screen, but nothing else. To do that, you need to go to:

/admin/Builders/Navigation Menu and open each of the blue Active items and mark the Visible for Member. That way the guest won't see the menu. You may care to leave Help and FAQ there.

Next go to /admin/builders/Pages Builder/Homepage and mark all the Active Blocks you don't want the guest to see Visible for Member.

You will then have to create an HTML Block and insert the path to a photo you have uploaded.

If you follow the above steps, the guest will see the site layout, a photo, but no information.

You could also use the splash screen to do this: http://digital-junction.com/demo

I can send you a copy of the code for that.

Keep in mind that the home page layout is very flexible. For example, you can have two text blocks in the same section, one for guests and one for members. My guest home page is completely different that the members home page.

Okay, We're getting close. Have a look at the two attached images. These are the same home page, but the first one is what guests will see and the second is what members see. You can make the guest image as big as you like.

If thst's what you want, let me know and I'll prepare a quick tutorial.

Guest.jpg The first one is the one that interests me and I think it would be good.
I also want to join the add photo to be mandatory

Both images are from the same setting in Page Builder. I'll do a little tutorial later today. Making a photo mandatory is done in admin/builders/profile fields/ join. Just make the photo block mandatory.

it has no effect. You can create an account without uploading a picture.

You're right. I looked at the photo block and there's no option to make it mandatory. It may sound strange to you and a few others, but I find this quite acceptable. If you think about it, most people are wanting to join a site without knowing what's on the other side. They're cautious and try to supply as few details as possible just in case the site is not what they're looking for.  Once inside, they should be allowed to make their own decision and continue as a member or opt out.

From a privacy aspect, by not uploading a photo they won't be exposing their true identity to others until they're ready to do so.

What you could do, is make all new members provisional and give them a set time to upgrade their profile or leave the site. You may care to make that time 48 hours, but it will be up to you to monitor each new member and upgrade those with photos before the provisional membership expires.

Modzzz has a mod called Profile Completeness which could do this automatically. I suggested to him some time ago that he add a feature to transfer membership once a photo is added, but to my knowledge, he hasn't done it.

I think I found something useful here:

https://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/How-do-I-make-adding-a-profile-photo-be-required.htm

I'm very keen to make the photo mandatory.

That looks like the answer. Just remember that you MAY loose a lot op potential members. I for one would not join a site that wanted my photo on join up and I know I'm not alone.

normal is that the functions are limited and you can not do anything just after adding the picture. But as I see here nobody comes with that source code that everything is on the money. I saw a lot of modules asking for them unimaginably high amounts compared to what quality.

Most of the people here didn't write the program. If you wish to alter source code, you need professional help. Talk to AntonLV. He speaks Russian and he's very fast and reasonably priced.

Here's the tutorial I offered. Sorry but English only. It allows you to create a landing page for guests using the Dolphin home page.

is a very good thing and we have successfully implemented it.

thank you.

I searched the forum for the facebok plug module and I did not find the solution to what doresc.eu I want when you want to register for the first time on the site to simply click and then be a member on the site without passes all the steps that are in join.php
