need help google adsense placent on my page

on my site from day one i have had like everyone else, the empty space on the right and left side of all the pages.

 I want to put a google adsense tower ad there, but the key is i want the ads  to stay in place on either side, kind of like floating to always be seen but i want the site to scroll behind it, is this possible?

now  i know google has rules that say "no floating ads" but like i said i just want them on the page to stay still and have the site pages scroll up and down behind them

Tussery, what your seeing is your site in a resolution that allows the "blank" spaces on the left and right.

Your site is formatted correctly on my PC at my current screen resolution, but, when I use my netbook that has a different resolution, smaller, your site has no blank spaces. Your ads would cover the contents of the page.

I'll make you a video if you need to see this, many members have discussed this in the past.

One way to quickly see this happen is to look at this demo.

if you were to see this page at any other resolution less that 1020*768 the "plus" will move in and cover the content..

yes newton i would like to try that.. far as people with netbooks ill cross that bridge when i do a total count of complains

This is adapted from another mod offered here, "share slider."

I can only get it to work on one side or the other, not both together.. hopefully someone else is better at this than I.

I used this in  the banners section of the Admin.

Make a new banner with this code, replacing your adsense code of course at the bottom.
