navigation menu problems

Dear all
The navigation menu in my site is broken
I've been running 7.0.4 for a long time.

Now I am in the process of preparing everything to make the shift to 7.1.1.
So on the server everything is 7.1.1.
The menu was OK after installing. Even with the skin I use.
Butt in the process of customising the menu, things went wrong. I was in the NL language all the thime, when a collegau enterd in English, things went wrong.
As you can see in the attached files, the system itmes are not displayed

What can I do to fix this?

Already cleard all the cache from admin panel and deleted the cache files with FTP

Is this a fresh install of 7.1.1 or an attempt at an upgrade; I was not clear on this point.

I did a fresh 7.1.0 install on the server. In the beginning the menu worked well. But after some changing, things went wrong. I hoped that the menu would come back after upgrade to 7.1.1, but this is not the case

Any odd things in the MySQL settings as far as clear from the attached images?

Fixed

Had to uninstall the modules. Then re-install them. Now everything works as it should
