moving forum post

Is there a way to move a post from one forum to another, or to another topic?

i am not exactlyt sure if this would work - but in theory, if you changed the topic_id and forum_id of the post in the sys_forum_posts table to the topic_id and forum_id of the topic you want it applied to - from the sys_forum_topic table - should work. But thats just a theory.

Would be nice if there was a button in 'manage forums' that said ... 'move post' as there is with some other forums!

i dont have forums enabled right now, so my earlier post was a small suggestion. But - yes - as in the videos module, you can move a video from one album to another, so in theory your concept should be something that someone can create a mod for or maybe even give you more info on how to add this functionality if it does not already exist.
