When you install the new script just enter the dolphin database credentials.  It'll create it's tables in the same database.  But then you'll have a bit of coding to do create users and everything in the new scripts.

Yikes!!!    Well..... that can have some interesting results.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

I don't believe you want to "merge" the databases, but bridge them in the form of an integration (e.g., user a signs up for web site b, is also signed up for web site c, etc.).

It varies from script to script, but in all, I do not know. Integrations are not my strong point.

This is an old post but to revive it from the dead...

Do you know where I can find information on how to bridge databases so that user 'a' signs up for web site b, is also signed up for web site c, etc.).

this really isnt an issue of bridging (as they say)

depending on the authentication used on each site, will determine how you would need to go about this.

(are you saying all sites are "dolphin sites" ? )

We have done these type of modifications and are very doable, but need more details to be able to advise on best route.

Scriptologist has a mod for this. Its in the market. I have purchased it, but my original thoughts have been put on hold so I have yet to use it

$250 is a lot of money for that module. Why did you put your thoughts on hold? Have you ever tested it?

Yes all sites are dolphin sites.

Maybe reading some of these older post you can see how others have achieved this.

Target market changed. But looking at current target markets, we may be revisiting the need for the mod that we purchased.
