I've been thinking about getting an iPad (and saving my pennies).  Have you tried to login with the Opera browser?

im going to try that later but its a big problem, we cant tell members to simply use another browser. they will come to the site using safari when they see that they cant log in then they would just leave and not come back...

Can Dolphin sites be access from the iPad or iPad2?  Have you sent a report to Apple support?

FYI, I can login with my iPod touch, using Safari, but not from the homepage... I have to use the "join.php" page to login.  Then  the "member.php" page would not load immediately... but it did load after surfing to a few other pages.

I have an iPhone 4 and can access my dolphin site no problem.  I am using 7.09.  I don't think any of the mods I have done had anything to do with logins either.

My daughter is not here right now, but I am pretty sure I remember accessing my site from her iPad (2) as well.

I would suggest making SURE your software is up to date (even tho it's new).  I know iOS 5 made a HUGE difference to me on my iPhone (the ONLY reason I un jail broke it).

My mac mini can access any areas as well.

I also have a browser app installed called KissMyAgent (for iOS) that tells whatever web site you are accessing what browser YOU choose to tell it.  I like it because it verifies that my Internet Exploiter disclaimer is displayed prominently.

What is your website URL?  I can try it out with several devices running safari.  Not sure if I can run down a copy of windows with safari on it as ALL my "PC's" in the house are running ubuntu and of course we have the mac as well.  I guess I could try safari running wine on my notebook and see what happens tho.

For whatever it may be worth... I test with latest versions of IE, FF, Chrome, Safari and Opera under Windows 7.  I can login into my Dolphin 7.0.9 site with no major issues.  Not surprising, IE is by far the slowest to load Dolphin pages (it's ridiculous that a multi-billion dollar company cannot make a good browser).

Any update on the problems with Safari & iPad?  Is this problem isolated to BoonEx Dolphin?  Has anyone contacted Apple to report it?

I'm having the same problem with Safari and Firefox. Could someone please reply and let me know what I need to do if there is anything at all that can be done. i noticed that someone said that 7.0.9 works fine. Has this has been fixed from 7.0.8? Should I upgrade to fix this?

Any help at all would be great, thx.

Are you using iPad3?  (I didn't think the Firefox browser would work on iPad.)  This topic was started because people are finding their Dolphin sites do not work on iPad3.  I don't own an iPad3 yet... and will not buy one unless I can use it to access Dolphin sites.  I wonder if the connection problem has something to do with the method BoonEx uses to check each site's Dolphin license... since this issue appears to be unique to Dolphin sites.

Sorry if you felt my comment was off topic. No I don't have an i Pad 3 yet, but will be buying one shortly. I commented because I believe the problem isn't apple or the i Pad but the compatibility between Dolphin and a few browsers (Chrome, Firefox and Safari). Perhaps a caching issue within Dolphin, I don't know. I would be very surprised if Boonex doesn't know about this already and little surprised how quiet they are about it. I'm confident they will have this fixed one day, down the long narrow dolphin road, looking forward to some feedback for us all. After all, this is/should be a major concern for them.

I'm not with the "Topic Police" but was only curious if you were also having problems with Dolphin working on iPad3.

Regarding problems with some browsers... I've experienced the same thing, i.e. I can't login from the homepage sometimes... in which cases the page freezes until I reload it.  I wonder if it may have something to do with the "Secure Password" program I use with my browsers.

I have an ipad 2 and havent had a single problem accessing my site. I can view, login and even update my site via ipad 2. For obvious reasons i cant use flash chat etc but just for info, ive bought the app iswifter. Although not the fastest, Iswifter allows you to view flash in websites and allows you to use the chat etc functions within your dolphin website. I wouldnt use Iswifter as my main browser but it does serve a purpose whilst on the move.

If anybody wants me to test their site via ipad 2, please give me your site address and i will give it a go.

I don't think it's your password program. The same thing happens to me. I have to refresh the page and then I can login. I'm thinking that Dolphin doesn't handle the cache properly. It is quite strange that Boonex hasn't been able to fix this though. And without any feedback at all, one is left to wonder if it can be resolved. Let's hope for the best though.

A caching problem makes sense. Do you experience the problem on select pages more often? For me it's the homepage... even on a new installation... and across all browsers. Which is embarrassing since it leaves a very bad impression when I show people how a default BoonEx Dolphin website looks and performs.

Does anyone have any resolution to this issue yet?

I am using dolphin 7.1 and can't access all fields or buttons with Safari  5.1.7 and the same with my Iphone 4s and 5

All that happens is a get a " field line shadow" across the area that I cant select.  Ive attached a screen shot.

Anyone have any ideas?

oh and I should add...

The two other register fields work fine... its just the one that has the shadow over it... which was put there by safari... when I try to click on it.
