members age display

Members don't have an option to hide their age. Facebook and others require birth date during registration but members can change that in their profile and hide their age.

Would be nice to have this option built in.

Or did I miss something and didn't see it?

no they don't have that option but you as an admin can do that

yoursite.com/administration/fields.php then click on view profile Admin.Member.Visitor remove it from there

I know about this option, thanks. The thing is that there are members who want to show their age and others won't, therefore there should be an option in profile settings.

I agree.... It would be nice to have that option in my site. If theres no option for it, i'm sure 20% of new members would fake their age for some reason. :-/

By the way, if you take that field off, you still can see their age in chat room.

Also it would be good to have a checkbox or something in join page asking if you want to hide your age or not. That way they know it's safe to put their real birth date.  Just an idea.  :)
