member contact preference

I'm looking for a way for members to have a contact preference, like if a female member doesn't want to be contacted by men, etc. They wound not be able to / be invisible.

we have an extremely busy site and were starting to hit the wall with the limitations here. we're on the fence about finding skilled developers and fork or port to another cms or build our own.

 I looked at that mod but I really need something that I can set a gender and age preference, it seems more group based call then member variables 

I have now released the Profile Privacy module which allows limiting contact or profile access based on variables such as age or gender preference.
