You can embed a photo in the mail and they can save it out to their hard drive. I am guessing this is more about attaching files to an email they can then download. Geeks, making the world a better place |
Hi yes I want for them that they can attach the images like I have in the forums |

That would be a big overhaul of the mail system. The quickest way for you to get something close, is to first buy MCImagemanager. Then purchase AndrewP's ImageManager integration.
This will allow members to upload images from within the TinyMCE editor, and insert them directly in the post to be mailed.

why attach and not just embed the image? Geeks, making the world a better place |
why attach and not just embed the image?
Didn't I just say that?

Yes, you did, but the person keeps talking about attaching. I wonder if they know the difference? Geeks, making the world a better place |
The only reason to have attachments, is if you wanted to mail other file types...pfd, doc,.. etc. That might be useful, but he specifically mentioned images. My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees. |
HI the reason I want to be able to attach files because it would be much easier to send photos to other members from there computer. a lot of members asking for it to be able to that that's why I'm trying to find out a way to do

Be sure you understand that it is an integration, you still have to buy the MCImageManager

FYI: I already had AndrewP's ImageManager integration, and decided to add Moxiecodes MCFilemanager. It works fine. If you have AndrewP's integration installed, all you have to do is add filemanager to the list of plugins, and then add 'insertfile' to the list of buttons.
