Wher and in what CSS can the main_footer_block reference be found

Not sure what version you are using, but a search of that term on the forums shows it is in general.css.

Thanks GSINC I could not find it in any CSS yesturday but will have another look in today i'm using 7.0.7 by the way.

Its for the powered by boonex footer bit it's the only bit I cant seem to find to tie the colors in with my new template I am making

The only footer element that I edited on my site is actually the copyright bar that runs across with the links, not sure that this is what you mean, but it's in general.css around line 450

 

    .bottomCopyright {
        background-color:#F9F9F9;
        border:1px solid #cccccc;
        margin:6px auto 0px;
    }

Yeah thanks I did that bit its the boonex footer I want altering see attached image and see the bit in the old grey colors.

Ah, that explains why I don't have it in my general.css file, I've removed the Boonex branding with licensing.

 

That bg image is"templates/tmpl_uni/images/footer_part.png" and the code is either in general.css or main.css, I think. But my notes from early days of setting up my template are a little vagueish.
