language code-set , Forum character

I tried to create a member with Chinese nickname, then database error appear. The nickname in database insert statement changed to  a strange character, and missed a ', so came the error.

 Anyone know how to adjust the code-set to something like unicode-8 ?

I noticed before that if change the code-set to a proper one, the forum list won't contain characters like 「」etc. But I can't finde the post now.

Could anyone please help me?

the language file ""Ö-ö,Ç-ç,İ-ı,Ü-ü,Ğ-ğ,Ş-ş"" character can not be used!
