janrain facebook connect not working

Facebook connect in the Janrain live login is  not working anyone have the same problems and solved it?

just to let you all know, I got a message from FB yesterday telling me that my FB application needed to be updated to meet their conditions.... Maybe this is something to do with what is going wrong......

 I did too, you just have to "allow" your app for the upcoming updates.

As far as changes, it's just like all modules that I change..

open boonex/rpx/install/config.php

look for..

'compatible_with' => array(
'7.1.0', '7.0.2', '7.0.3', '7.0.4', '7.0.5', '7.0.6', '7.0.7', '7.0.8', '7.0.9'

all your going to do is put "7.1.0" anywhere and save.. done

 Oh and this has nothing to do with using facebook website login, that is concerning actual apps, like this..

this is my site 'inside' facebook, which is an "app"  totally different functions.

I'm use beckmedia locations and events for this page, events are pulled direct from fb to site. so it works great inside facebook

 All that is is toggling a couple updates...It simple and it would have nothing to do with that...

MY Facebook connection in the same does not work...with 7.0.9

The problem i see is everyone is assuming he is having problems installing it.

However i have not seen one post from him that actually states that.

All he said was it's not working, and he specifically said the facebook part of janrain.

I tried to add facebook to a demo and I kept getting a janrain "Error #15" whatever that is.

sorry I misunderstood initial post or problem..

I just don't use Janrain side for FB because I use the default FB connect provided.

If you use the Engage API to do targeted sharing in Facebook (http://developers.janrain.com/documentation/api-methods/engage/shar...), then it will need to be disabled on your site. The Engage API functionality for targeted sharing in Facebook will cease to function on February 6th.

Error 15 indicates a app access token is needed.

This most likely is due to facebook changes. I do not know when janrain was last updated, but this appears to be a problem with janrain and the facebook api. The fix will have to come from janrain.

I am not sure. But it does not sound to me like it should affect logins.

I'm gonna see if i can or maybe get things working over the next few days
