is there a better way to use simple messenger?

im looking for a better simple messenger, i installed the "chat" tab that hovers on the top left side,, but you still have to go to the members profile to start the im,, what im looking for is something on the member menu bar that shows friends that you can use to instant message from there, kinda how facebooks messenger works,, is there something like that out there? or is anyone working on such a thing?

 i looked into this one, it only works on its own chat page and does not dock on the menu bar. Think newt found the one im looking for its 50 bucks for basic and like 150 for white label .. think that is what i will end up getting, wish there was a mod that turned boonexs simple messenger into basically what comet chat

I forgot to mention, only works for .9 until they update.

 well beings i havent taken up smoking crack as a hobby or a past time,, i still have all my sites at .9 till  7.1 is worked on ALOT
