increase the value of the max user connections?

can someone help explain to me how to increase the value of the max_user_connections step by step?

i dont know where to start. thanks

thank you. i'm still trying to get this issue worked out. host provider says one thing while boonex says another.

i still haven't gotten an answer lol. do you know how to find out how many connections is too many on my server? and do i need to pay for another server? i'm still very new with all of this

Goto your cpanel, goto any settings of database. Here must be info about how many connections provided for you by your host.

Or, goto phpMyAdmin directly. Goto 'Server variables and settings' (at server page)

find here variable `max connections`  (for example its 100 for me).

Also you can find here `max user connections`

This is your max user connection


So just ask your hoster how expand this variables (usually this is just different hosting plans)
