Please share thoughts, ideas about tweaking Dolphin sites to be more user friendly when it comes to engaging in discussions, comments, forums etc...
I'm working on a few new sites, very article driven and need to allow members to easily engage in discussions over those articles.
I really want to use the new OUTLINE feature as a way to display new content on home page.
This presents a few problems...
Forums, currently are the more 'complete' section for discussion.
You can see previous comments, you can embed multimedia in your reply, you can quote etc...
BUT - forums do not show in OUTLINE!
BLOGS allows multimedia in the first post, but not in the comments. Comments are very basic and only shows a few on the page at one time.
ARTICLES - same thing, but also will not show in OUTLINE.
What would be ideal, would either be the option to create 'featured' posts in forum that would also show in OUTLINE... or to have forum style comments in the modules such as Blogs...
Any thoughts?
I find the current default options rather un-engaging.
