i know this has been asked

i've searched the forums for this and there's a lot of different answers ... but none very clear ... ive setup the database uploaded the files and i got the world wide known but not answered error 541 ... called my host and told them what i read in this forum about the error and how they needed to enable the mbstring ... next thing i'm being told how i don't know what i'm talking about, it is on, and dolphin is a 3rd party program and so on ... SO ...is there a layman term fix or am i going to pull my hair out trying to figure out what some netbrain wizkid is saying to me? better yet is there a better software that can out smart the host and fix this problem and make them look dumb for once? All i want is to start this up ... why does it have to be so hard?

Error 541?   What are you talking about?  There's no such error code. 

you remind me of the microsoft guy that doesnt know what defrag is ...but he knows defragmentation of the C drive.

Can the attitude and you might get some assistance around here.  When you describe something as 'error 541', it sounds like you are talking about some Apache error code, which incidentally, does not exist.  A php error that occurs when parsing line 541 of idex.php .... well that's a little different, isn't it?

Oh yeah, didn't you see the memo on that one Houston?  That's the one where he needs to enable DHTML via suPHP 5.2.94 via installing MySQL 6.2.8 on a Linux Server that is running Apache 9.4.1  It has to do with ensuring that you can upload media to your site via your Facebook Login and thus store it on the MySpace Server Cluster.  I know you saw that memo.

Now, just in case your right Houston, and I'm wrong and there is no Error 541, then I would be willing to guess this guy needs to go look at line 541 of his dumb_ass.com/install/index.php  file.  Then he would see that when he fired off his load, the mbstring got jammed up by the vasectomy and thus it can't fire the program correctly.

But I'm sure your wrong and he is right and it's an error 541 and not an error that has to do with line 541 of the aforementioned file.

You should be done with the installation & good to go in less than 10 min..

when i called the techs the first time they made a ticket on it ...the second tech was worthless ...what they did was look at what i was doing and never seen it before so they were nice enough to get things working for me.

the only reason people come on here is because they have troubles setting it up ...hmmm let me see ....im not pissed cause i have been trying to figure this out for hours and all it shows are errors ...searching the forums are not helping ...i know for a fact that people get frustraded doing this stuff ...then they come in here and ask a question get treated like they rude (LMAO) im sure if i knew more about this i would have worded it alot different so it wouldnt have pissed off you guru's that know all ...but alot of people in this world didnt get a degree in knowing it all ...so show others how you treat people that have problems ...make yourself a name ...ive been working on this one day ...how long have you be working on it? ...i said what i said cause what ive seen in the forums theres no real answer ...

  im very lucky that a expert saw what it was and helped me with it ...and never once called me rude or thought i was rude in anyway ...and never made remarks in the forum about how they know it all and wont help.
