The Aedating licenses didn't carry over when they changed the name. There also isn't any upgrade scripts that I know of. If you want to try Dolphin you can use it free without a license but you would have to start from scratch or hire someone to move everything over.

There is no need to buy a license to update the site.  However, the update procedure has to be followed very carefully.  What is the current version of Dolphin you are running?  We need the complete number to guide you in the upgrade process.

Also, the first step in the process is to back up the database and the complete site files; all of them.  Can you perform this?  If not, it may be best to hire someone to do the upgrade for you.

He isn't using Dolphin, he stated in his question that he's using Aedate which was the product before Dolphin. I answered his question completely 2 hours before you posted.

As noted, Dolphin has an unlimited "trial".  The only catch is there's a banner on the side of the page for Dolphin - the license removes this.  No features are disabled in the trial version.

Just noted this, excussssssssed meeeeeeee. LOL, I did not not know what aedating was.  If you must know, I thought he had brought out a website using dolphin that was called aedating.  Gee whiz, you did not have to be so abrupt in this you know.  Bleeding heck in a handbasket.

Could be worse, he could have asked how to upgrade from Barracuda.
