html block won't save

When I edit an html block it appears to save, but it doesn't. It was working, but now it doesn't. The html block used to come up in a wysiwyg window. And now it comes up in the html version. Can anyone help us with this?

Delete it and redo it in Firefox.  I know that is a crappy thing to say, but that is the best way to get them to work.

He's right - but also clear all the caches - in the admin panel and in your browsers.   Saw your profile about "virtual dreaming" - I don't know what that is, but check out this link I just found for anyone having trouble sleeping! http://www.soundsleeping.com/vibes_small.html

Cheers

Thanks for these suggestions, but unfortunately neither the FireFox or cache ideas have helped. Has anybody else got any ideas?

This might sound stupid, but sometimes it's exactly what the problem is.  When your in your Admin Panel and you click on the HTML Box the page should load with a text entry box that let's you set it for guest/member and so on.  Inside that box is also a little "HTML" button.  Are you clicking that little button and then entering your HTML Code or are you entering it in the box that appears on the page that allows you to select guest/member.

You have to hit the html button and enter the code into the pop-up box that appears in a new window in order for it to take.

Seen this a lot of times, hope it helps.

Then I guess your not going to have your HTML Block.  Besides, why would you want Firefox anyways?  After all it only has web development tools like Firebug availble to help you solve problems, is the 2nd most popular browser on the net so it's not like anyone will ever come to your site using Firefox, so why should you worry if there are end user problems in Firefox, not that you'd want to fix those... And of course, when your adjusting items in the Admin Panel it is so much easier to keep logging in as admin, then out, then in as a member, then out then in as admin just to check to see if the changes are taking effect, I mean that is so much easier than logging into the site as a user in IE and Admin in FF and then just flipping from one browser to the other...

Of course, what do we know, we're just a bunch of idiots according to you that don't have a clue what we're talking about and you are the resident genius.  Forgive me for stepping out of line oh Holy Turd.

Yeah. All you smart people. It still doesn't work. Houstonlively had a workaround for it but i can;t find it and I have a new install of 7.08 and it STILL doesn't work.

I know i had to change mine to the simple version in tinymce, i just can;t remember how.

This is so lame.  How could Boonex let such a critical function break again.  I swear, every upgrade here breaks 10 things for every one it fixes.

I did Deano's mod.  I put the new code for Google+ pages in there, but if you touch that block at all it will break, and delete the code, even if put directly in the database.   I haven't tried it for iFrames yet.
